Speaking Reflection (Kelen)

On January 23, I met a student at VCU. Her major is international studies and french. We talked about Brazil, USA and our family. She went to Brazil in 2007 through a program that VCU has with USP (University of Sao Paulo). She studied  one year there. In Brazil she made a lot of friends, which keep in touch to practice her portuguese. We spoke about Brazilian culture and the importance of knowing another nation. Furthermore we talked about typical food, beaches and museums. She has 1 brother and her parents live in a city close to D.C . Finally she told me a little about American culture. We had a good time!!!
