Speaking Reflection (Kelen) 02/02/09

On January 31, I met my friend Mary at VCU. This time was different, because I introduced my mother for her and She introduced her brother for me. At VCU we talked a little and then we went together in a Chinese restaurant to have lunch. There we talked about Brazil, working in the U.S., family and children. Her brother is english teacher in Norfolk and he helped me with some questions that I had in relation to speak english, such as:I didn’t know when to use nothing and anything in a sentence and he explained for me, among other things. We had a very good time and we combined for she goes at my house on Monday to practice more english and to eat Brasilian’s food. I’m very happy with my new friend Mary!!!
